Ishitaa Goyal

With a background in defence, Ishitaa deeply values the role of culture and background in shaping personal experiences. Her interactions with diverse individuals have made her prioritise the various intersectionalities that influence one’s life and interpretation. In her therapy practice, she often utilises modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. However, she believes in adapting her approach to meet the unique needs of each client, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques based on their specific concerns.

Ishitaa places great importance on building a healthy rapport and creating a safe environment for her clients, viewing these as essential components of a strong therapeutic relationship. She believes that people are inherently good and it is their circumstances and experiences that often govern their thoughts and actions, thus aligning with a person-centered philosophy. 

Her experience includes working with issues such as anxiety, depression, isolation, stress, anger management, and interpersonal problems with friends and family. In her free time, Ishitaa enjoys baking, reading, and playing with dogs. She also loves unwinding by spending quality time with her loved ones.
