“Mental Health Practitioner”, “MHPs”, “Psychologist”, "Counselling Psychologist", “Psychological Practitioner”, “psychotherapist”, “therapist”, “expert”, “consultant” or similar terminology are all in reference to the Mental Health Practitioner.
“User”, “Client”, “you”, “your” or other similar terminology are all in reference to you, as the user of the website, and as a recipient of our Services and resources for the remainder of this document.
“Platform” or similar terminology are all in reference to the website or web links that the User can employ to access Services provided by the Firm.
"Website" refers to Fettle Counselling, accessible from www.fettlecounselling.com
"Third-party Social Media Service" refers to any website or any social network website through which a User can log in or create an account to use the Service.
"Personal Data" is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
"Country" refers to India and state refers to Maharashtra.

Fettle Counselling is a mental health initiative aiming at providing psychotherapy and other such services to individuals and organizations. These include, but are not limited to individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, corporate training programs, collaborations with NGOs.
Fettle Counselling offerings may include, but are not limited to:

Fettle Counselling reserves the right to add or remove products and Services from its overall offerings without prior notification. The aforementioned shall hereinafter be referred to as “Services”.

By using the Fettle Counselling platform, providing us your Personal Data or by making use of the features provided by the platform or by making a payment to Fettle Counselling, you hereby provide your consent to the collection, storage, processing, disclosure and transfer of your personal information in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy.

Some Personal Information, such as your answers to online assessments cannot be updated or deleted once submitted. If you would like us to remove your records from our system, please contact us at fettlecounselling@gmail.com and we will attempt to accommodate your request if we do not have any legal obligation to retain such information.
Please note that we are required to retain certain information in keeping with professional standards or by law for record maintaining purposes (including but not limited to payment history, feedback, client information, etc.), so we will continue to store this information for a pre-specified period of time as per applicable laws, even if you delete your account. There may also be residual information that will remain within our databases and other records, which, irrespective of any efforts by us to delete information, will not be removed from them.

Delete Your Personal Data

Fettle Counselling maintains the confidentiality of information disclosed during personal consultation. Any information shared with Fettle Counselling is confidential and not shared with anyone, including your organization, with certain exceptions where confidentiality may be breached. The case where confidentiality will be breached is if:

Risk to Self or others: If the MHP finds that there is a significant risk to life of self or others, the MHP is required to reach out to the emergency contact assigned by You. You will be informed about the same. Fettle Counselling reserves the right to break confidentiality to protect the safety of the User of our Service or the public.

Business Transactions: If the Firm is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, Your Personal Data may be transferred with your consent. We will provide notice before Your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

Law enforcement or other Legal Requirements: Under certain circumstances, the Firm may be required to disclose Your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency). None of the call or video sessions are recorded. In keeping with professional standards, our MHPs might be required to maintain records of both online and offline sessions. We urge our Users to refrain from posting Personal Data on any publicly accessible place on our platform. Fettle Counselling shall not be held responsible for use or misuse of any information pertaining to or shared by the User with relation to its Services. The User will not hold Fettle Counselling liable for any issue related to data storage and/or security.

Except for the reasons outlined above, the Personal Information shared on Fettle Counselling will only be shared with others after permission has been granted by You orally or by way of email/letter/text messages. All staff members of Fettle Counselling, including all professionals, employees, contracted professionals or trainees, are required to follow this confidentiality policy.

The User agrees to indemnify Fettle Counselling for any breach in confidentiality of the User’s Personal Data. If the User accesses Fettle Counselling through a third-party platform the User indemnifies Fettle Counselling against any data breaches that occur due to any acts of commission or omission from the third-party platform.

Fettle Counselling is designed primarily for adults and the Services are not directed to persons under the age of 18 years directly. We do not knowingly solicit anyone under the age of 18 to participate independently in any of our Services. With appropriate parental consent, we provide monitored psychotherapy to persons under the age of 18. The Firm does not seek to or intentionally collect any personal information from children under 18. If such a child or their guardian alerts us, we will take reasonable steps to delete any such information as quickly as is practical.

Fettle Counselling reserves the right to change or remove any part of the Privacy Policy without notice or liability to any third party. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Policy applies to all information that Fettle Counselling has about you and your account. Using the Services on the Website or other platforms of Social Media after a notice of change has been sent to you or published on our website shall constitute your consent to the changed terms.
