Azmeen Aga

Azmeen believes therapy is something like good soil; it holds you, grounds you, and quietly creates the conditions for you to grow.

She makes this possible by curating a therapeutic space where you can be your truest self; safe enough to feel, strong enough to reflect, and ready, when you are, to begin to change.

A Lifespan Counselling Psychologist with a postgraduate degree from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, Azmeen brings with her a richness of experience working with people across every stage of life; children, adults, and the elderly. Her work has taken her across schools, hospitals, mental health organisations, and geriatric care centres, holding space for a wide range of human experiences, in both individual therapy and group settings.

Azmeen primarily practices Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Where it feels right, she weaves in techniques from expressive arts; Dance, movement, art, music, and drama.

“Because sometimes the body knows what the mind hasn't yet found language for.” Her approach is always tailored to you.

Long before she became a psychotherapist, Azmeen was already creating spaces for people to feel heard. As a voiceover artiste and podcast host of ‘The Story Truck’, she has given people a platform to voice their story. That same instinct is what led her to therapy.

When she is not in session, you will find her walking in nature, exploring new expressive art forms, practising yoga, or bringing people together through events.
