
Beaula Furtal
Beaula Furtal completed her BA in Psychology from S.I.E.S College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Mumbai, and her master's degree in Counselling Psychology from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. She has been working as a full-time counselling psychologist at Fettle Counselling since 2022 and has seen clients of various genders ranging from 16 to 75, during her experience in the field.
Beaula places great importance on mental health, recognizing its essential role in our ability to function and thrive in everyday life.
She understands that life presents challenges that can impact and take a toll on our mental health. In her view, therapy serves as a safe and open space where individuals can address these issues, fostering self-care and mental well-being. She believes that as we navigate the journey of life, everyone can benefit from having a supportive presence along the way.
In her therapeutic practice, Beaula adopts a humanistic-existential approach to understanding mental health concerns. She thoughtfully integrates a range of interventions and techniques from various therapeutic modalities, including Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, depending on the specific issues clients bring to their sessions. Additionally, she tailors interventions to align with the unique needs of each individual, ensuring a personalized and effective therapeutic experience.
She has extensive experience addressing a range of concerns, including anxiety and related issues, phobias, depression, and low mood. Her expertise also covers adjustment challenges, existential questions about self and the world, identity-related issues, and family and relationship dynamics. Additionally, she works with clients on concerns involving self-esteem, self-love, body image, motivation, and stress management.
In her free time Beaula often engages in photography, singing and music. She enjoys reading novels, mangas and watching various tv series and visiting new places.
